CHEROKEE MISSION
The Mission of Cherokee Elementary School is to ensure high standards of excellence in education by meeting the individual needs of all students through the cooperation of staff, parents, and community.
The Cherokee Site Council fosters the belief that all children have equal access to education, skills and knowledge, and the right to succeed. This is a shared responsibility and requires the commitment and participation of staff, students, and community to ensure school improvement in all areas that are data-driven, researched based, collaborative, results-oriented, ongoing and self-renewing, and focus on both quality and equity.
CHEROKEE VISION
The Vision of Cherokee Elementary School supports the Scottsdale Unified School District Vision of 31 Excelling Schools. Our school vision states that everyone can learn and be successful. We believe that educational success and the joy in learning are shared responsibilities of the student, home, school, and community. High expectations and hard work, driven by a positive vision, are essential to quality performance. Education must advance the dignity, self-esteem, and personal growth of everyone involved.
